 Do Not Buy Eset NOD32, This review is from: Nod32 Antivirus Version 5 - 1 User (CD-ROM) This product is set up in such a way that once you have installed it, it is incredibly difficult to remove. First off, I should say that the product, while it does it's job, is not equal to other antivirus products. Secondly, the new purchase price is $40, but to renew is $80. When it comes time to renew, it has popups every half hour that will sometimes kick you out of a full screen program. It is not possible to turn the popups off. It is not possible to turn the program off. It is not possible to remove the program via the control panel, nor does it allow you to delete the files containing Eset. The only way to remove the program is to download the uninstaller from the Eset website, restart your computer in safe mode, run the uninstaller (at which point your computer warns you that this program may seriously harm your computer), go through several steps using the command prompt, and restart your computer again.
