Nowadays external had drives have come to store much of our digital media library, but most of the times such devices don't really look that good right in the middle of your living room, next to that thin HDTV you have just bought or in your HiFi rack, so Sharkoon has designed a stylish hard drive enclosure that would surely satisfy even the most demanding buyers.

Coming in with a brushed aluminum front panel that resembles classic HiFi devices, the SATA QuickPort Home HDD Dock can be equipped with both a 3.5 inch and a 2.5 inch SATA hard drive, the device also coming with a multi-format card reader.

In order not to ruin the design, the HDDs are hidden behind push-to-open slots, mounting a drive being a simple affair since all the user has to do is open the door and slide their HDD into Sharkoon's temperature controlled housing.

Connectivity wise, the QuickPort Home HDD Dock comes with an eSATA and a USB2.0 port in order to deliver content to your media player or other USB and eSATA enabled devices.

Two other USB ports are placed on the front and backside in order to connect other devices to the QuickPort Home HDD Dock, a second QuickPort unit being also supported if you want more storage space or have more then two drives that need to be used at the same time.

I have to admit that I am sold when it comes down the QuickPort since its simple and stylish design should make it a welcomed addition in any living room, the 49.90 Euros price tag being also pretty fair, if you ask me.
